finally aft some struggle, i'm back at work again... was thinking of taking no pay leave initially to take care of the gal.. coz i was really sim tia to put her in infantcare so young... but then, the more 理智 part of me told myself tt it's going to be the same if i'm juz taking a few more mths... 长痛不如短痛... i shd put her in when she still haven't develop stranger anxiety... and indeed, the gal is now super adjusted to her infantcare days... :)
PH juz recovered fr his chicken pox... but developed a cough on the way... so still nursing his health back.. was told tt he needs to be on flexotide puffs for one mth.. PD said tt it's like taking 补品.. previously, we stop giving him puffs the moment he stops coughing... will be trying pd's method... n hopefully the boy will cough less often....
was re-reading a fren's blog last wk... n wondered if my boy is a highly-sensitive child... he's very sensitive to adults' emotions and his chinese vocab is very gd (coz we always speak mandarin to him).. it's very difficult to discipline him and he's always whiny... thinking of getting the book to read... if he's really highly sensitive, i will hav to change the way to discipline him liao...

go clear your doubts! it's one of the best parenting move i've ever done! bcos if he is a HSC, then our approach has to b very different. n e book will b super enlightening. :)

ya.. i hav been thinking of wat approach to use... was reading the website n got worried coz if not handled properly, will actually affect his adult life... so dun play play ah... :P
hey. have you got your book? so is PH a HSC? if he is, let's share stories. cos only parents w HSCs know wat's like to have one. it's quite a struggle taking care of one also. ya, gotta tread very carefully with them bcos they're soooooooo sensitive. haiz.

i got the book... but only managed to work thru the 1st chapter... hectic life with work n kids.... :(
but even with only the first chapter, i think PH is HSC... he displayed quite a number of the characteristics of HSC... we oso talked to a counsellor (during a free talk at his childcare).. the counsellor oso agree with my viewpoint... got to pick up the book again n read thru how i can help him...
needs lots of patience though... both me n hubby r running low on it now.. :P
