this morning, we had to go tomb sweeping.. so we left PH with his ye ye n ah ma.. luckily we din bring him along.. the place was really smokey.. we almost can't stand it too..
went to SIL's place aft tt.. PH had fun over there.. there's alot of toys.. there were oso a few tortises.. PH kept trying to reach for the tortise.. too bad his arm too short liao.. can't touch at all. .:P
borrowed alot of thick clothings fr SIL for PH.. seems like we won't need to buy any for PH liao.. coz a forum friend said tt she can lend us her son's winter clothing.. we juz need to top up a few long sleeves tshirt.. :)
brought PH to the playground for some fun.. he had fun on the see saw.. :) there's another kid at the playground.. PH is really a little bully in the making.. when the boy wanted to play the same thing as him, he shout at the boy.. when the boy ignore him, he push the boy away.. faint.. wonder when he can understand tt toys shd be shared.. :(
we were hungry aft sending in laws back home.. went to west coast McDonald for some snacks.. PH had his gerber puffs too.. this little boy suddenly decided tt he likes to share his food.. kept feeding me n hubby with the gerber puffs.. :P it was so sweet... :) but aft several feeding, he decided to make fun of us by acting like he wanted to give us the puffs and suddenly take back the puffs.. :P so cute.. :)
PH is no longer a bb.. he seems to understand alot of things now.. today, we let him stay over with my in laws as hubby has an exam tml n can't afford to be late..
he knew tt... when we wanted to go, he hang his head really low n ignore us... :( i was so sad.. almost wanted to juz carry him back home... aft awhile, he decided to try his luck.. ran to me n ask him to carry him.. i carried him.. aft tt, he refused to be carried by his grandparents.. i nearly want to give in again.. :P FIL carried him over.. he actually said bye bye to us.. but can see tt he still hope tt we will bring him home.. :(
supposed to let him stay over tml night too.. as got to go to guan1 ming2 san1 on early sat morning for qing1 ming2.. can't bring him there as it's too smoky liao.. and it will be quite rushed if we bring him over in the morning n travel to sin ming aft tt..
shall see how.. maybe i will juz stay late at my in laws tml n tuck him to bed b4 i leave... awww.. i'm getting clingy to my boy... :P
PH went for his growth assessment and MMR vaccination yesterday...
he's now 75cm and 9.2kg.. still growing steadily in his 25th percentile.. ask pd if he's small in size.. pd said 'yes'... but commented tt he's juz lean.. so it's okie.. hopefully PH can put on more weight n grow taller...
cried badly when he had his vaccination.. it's like i bullied him.. hee.. :P but his attention diverted immediately when the nurse gave him a sweet to play with.. :P
brought him to my old lab for visiting since i got to wait for hubby to pick us up.. initially he was quite scared.. aft a while, he warmed up n was having fun being 'superman'.. my ex colleagues were 'flying' him ard the lab corridor.. :P my ex colleague gave him another sweet to play with.. but aft playing with it for a while, he walk over to the dustbin n threw away the sweet.. :P so funny.. :P
PH got his first passport.. :) brought him to ICA to collect his passport today.. :) the queue is long.. there were abt 30 pple b4 us.. but we onli waited for half an hour.. not bad.. quite fast. .:)

went to jacob ballas garden with yingyi n family on sat.. :) on the way there, we lost our way.. :P when we were abt to reach, i realised tt hubby dropped PH's jacket on the way to carpark.. no choice.. hubby dropped me off at the garden while he drove back to collect.. :( thus, there's not much photo.. onli got photo for sand play and water play coz hubby rushed back liao.. :)
while waiting for hubby, yingyi, leo and zofie walk ard the park with us.. PH tried the suspension bridge.. initially, he was a little scared.. but with some encouragement n with me holding his hand, he managed to finish walking to the end.. :)
wanted to try the log.. but, i got a poor sense of balance.. thus better not.. dun want to fall into the stream with PH.. :P
we walked ard, had some fun exploring.. den we went to the sand pit for some sand play.. :)

aft playing with the sand, we brought the kids to the water play area.. :) PH was scared initially.. other kids ran towards the water.. he ran away... :P but aft some warming up, he loves the water play area so much tt he tried to run back to the play area when i was changing him half way.. :P

but he decided tt he dun like it.... :( he's so skinny... can see his porky ribs.....

brought PH to CSC bukit batok last Sun.. we had great fun.. din bring cam along.. so no photos to share.. :P
in the past, we only bring him to the children pool... this time.. we decided to be more adventurous.. :) we decided to try the wave pool and lazy pool... :)
lazy pool was fun.. the moment we put him in the pool in his float, he was so excited tt he laugh n kept waving his arms.. :P it was so enjoyable drifting together with him.. but.. the happiness din last long.... we passed by the water curtain.. PH got a shock n cried for help. .:P juz aft we managed to calm him down n cheer him up, we passed thru the 2nd water curtain.. this time round, he refused to be pacified... he wail throughout the remaining journey..
we decided to try again.. the next round, PH sat in the float with me.. whenever we pass thru the water curtain, i will hold him tight.. he seems better aft tt..:) next, the wave pool....
the wave pool was disastrous... i think me n hubby were really stupid... wave crashes at the most shallow part.. n guess where we put PH?? at the most shallow part!!! in the end, the waves crashed right into his face!! poor PH.. he was so shocked.. nothing we do could comfort him.. in the end, we got to hug a wailing toddler out of the wave pool... :P
we will bring him there again.. but the next time we r there, we won't put him at the most shallow part of the wave pool again.. :P
btw, something funny happened too... i applied sunblock for PH.. since there's extra left, i applied the remaining on my back.. i din really apply it nicely.. juz anyhow slap.. :P tt night, i realised i had sunburn.. n there's a nice handprint (without sunburn) on my shoulder where i slap on the sunblock.. :P
yes... my little boy is a dare devil.. play with insects not satisfied.. now, he play with amphibians.... faint....... :P he better dun start playing with lizards... i hate lizards..
my father bought some little froggies for his pet fish.. den, he decided to let PH play with the remaining froggies.. to everyone amazement, PH juz dig his whole hand into the bowl of little froggies.. there muz be at least 10 in there.. my father encouraged him further by putting a few froggies on the floor for him to play.. he had so much fun chasing the froggies n torturing them.. i watch until i pity the froggies n call a stop to it..

PS: his mama used to play with beetle.. even kept one as pet.. the beetle had a name.. but mama can't rem it already.. the poor beetle died a few days aft "enjoying" his shortlived pet days.. well.. not sure if it died of hunger.. coz mama dunnoe wat beetle eats.. so she juz gave it a few leaves pluck fr some unknown plants.. :P mama gave the beetle a proper burial in her pri school science garden.. :P
brought PH to Zofie's birthday party today... wow.. ying yi really spent lots of effort in decorating the place.. the whole house was transformed into "Winnie the Pooh Hundred Acre Wood".. there's a big pooh bear which welcome us at the door.. creepers made using straws and leaves running all ard the ceiling and windows.. there's oso small winnie the pooh bears and hunny pots around the house..a play area was set up for the kids... zofie's bedroom was being transformed into a play area with a slide and an inflatable boat filled with colourful balls.. there's even an art n craft section set up for the older kids for them to paint their birthday party hat.. too bad PH was wearing a white tshirt n it's very likely tt he will decor himself instead of the hat.. so we din dare to let him try.. hehehe.. :P

read fr a fellow dec06 mom's blog abt The Animal Resort. decided to bring PH there today since we will be going to Sengkang, which is very near to Seletar West Farmway.. :)
when we reached, we were welcomed by a very very very strong animal smell.. den we realised, we parked next to the cat enclosure.. n there were lots of cats in there..
we went to the "big bird" enclosure first.. paiseh.. dunnoe wat bird it is.. :P

it's nice to see tt PH loves animals alot.. he's not afraid of them n is willing to approach them.. maybe it's bcoz he dunnoe tt animals can bite... hehehehe.. :P
btw, he loves bugs too... so far, he tried catching spiders and ants.. he has already played with 2 beetles.. i was fortunate to witness it once... he tried picking up the beetle.. but unsuccessful.. the poor beetle muz be badly traumatised... it quickly crawled away at first chance.. hehehehe.. :P
bought this for PH.. quite interesting.. we juz use water to write on it.. when the water dries, the image disappear.. :) initially, PH din really understand the concept... but aft playing with it for a while, he knows tt the water is the ink.. n u will need to hav ink in order to write on it.. :) it's fun to see him scribbling.. though he's juz drawing lines.. :P
my old comp chair kept leaking oil.. so hubby bought a new one for me.. in order to get a cheaper deal, we assemble the chair on our own.. :P
papa couldn't handle it alone.. so PH came to help... :P
