cycling trip at Sentosa..

Mon was public holiday.. so we decided to bring PH to the outdoors for some fun activities.. :) hubby suggested cycling.. since ECP is so far away, we decided to go Sentosa Silosa Beach instead.. however, we realised tt it's a big mistake the moment we reach the beach.. :P

there's not much scenery to look at while cycling.. there's too many buildings between the beach and the cycling track.. there's a cycling track.. but there's pple everywhere.. they simply walk on the cycling track.. we were forced to cycle on the road.. n need to be constantly on the lookout for trams n bus... :( to make things worse, the pple there simply bochap cyclist.. ring ring at them oso not much use.. they seems to forget tt there were vehicles on the road.. simply cross the road without looking at the traffic.. there were a few times when i had to siam them..

next time, i think i will prefer to travel all the way to ECP for a better cycling experience... :P

nevertheless, the day was fun.. PH oso told us tt he had fun... :) he enjoyed himself alot at the water play area.. it was so unlike the trip to jacob ballas when he was 15mth old..

tonight, PH had a conversation with me... he just finished his milk milk..

me: 还要奶奶吗?
PH: 还要..
me: 要一点点还是多多?
PH: 一点点...

he did finish his 2nd milk serving.. :) it's just a very simple conversation.. but it's so interesting to finally be able to hav a conversation with PH.. :)

he's getting better with his 撒娇 skills too.. recently, he got bitten by mosquitoes on his feet.. it was really bad.. his feet were so swollen.. there's even tiny blisters on his feet.. initially, we were quite worried n thot tt it's chicken pox in disguise.. :P but din see any spots appearing on his body..

anyway, he was really funny.. he will tell me everyday in a very very 可怜 tone "流血了.. 痛痛喔.. 很痛喔..."

the wounds r getting better now.. n i'm so proud of him.. he can refrain fr scratching himself now.. whenever the bites feel itchy, he will pat pat the area instead of scratching.. juz a few mths ago, he scratch an insect bite till it bleed n need antiseptic cream to prevent infection.. now he can control.. :)

my birthday!!

yeah!! my birthday today.. not something to be too happy with actually.. i'm getting older.. sob.... :( eversince after my 21st birthday.. each birthday i went thru reminds me tt i'm not young liao...... :(

anyway, i love birthdays since it's the time i can chop hubby for gifts n food n cakes.. hahahaha... :P this year's birthday falls at the wrong timing.. hubby having exam.. so i'm stuck at home writing blogs.. hahahaha.. :P but, i still got a nice birthday treat at kui shinbo... n a last min birthday cake fr hubby... :)

kui shinbo is nice.. went on wednesday's ladies nite n gorge myself with snow crab.. hahahaha.. not forgetting sashimi and sushi n tempera n teppanyaki beef... hehehehe... :P not much on the desserts coz not very fantastic leh... want to fully utilise my tummy space for food tt's worth it.. hahahahaha.. :P walked out of the restaurant with super bloated tummy.. hehehehe... :P very satisfied.... :)

today, hubby grounded at home to study for his coming exam.. lukily he 良心发现 n decided to get me a cake last min to celebrate... initially wanted to buy a whole cake.. but i couldn't decide on which to get.. thus i decided to be nice.. told hubby tt we save money.. dun need to buy whole cake... juz buy a 'few' slices will do.. hehehehe... :P

we r so busy today.. went to several places in a day.. there's a farewell gathering and 2 birthday celebration..

met the dec mommies for LiL's farewell.. she will be going to shenzhen with her hubby.. the tots had a great time.. mommies had a great time chatting away too.. :) good that we hav a private function room.. the tots can roam ard without us worrying too much.. :) PH is behaving quite well too.. he actually finished his porridge without creating any fuss.. i guess he's trying to impress the gals lah.. hahahaha... :P

as usual, PH is very clingy when he's at a new environment.. took him quite some time to warm up.. but aft warming up, he got quite interactive.. :)

aft Rachel's birthday party, we went over to vivocity for MIL's birthday dinner.. had dinner at Pu Tien.. was quite surprised when we reach there.. it was actually inside Food Republic.. so different fr the one hubby saw at Marina Sq.. :P Nevertheless, the food is yummy... and value for money.. :)

it was funny when we were ordering.. saw this Pu Tien Style sweet and sour pork.. asked the waitress how different is it from the normal sweet n sour pork.. guess how she reply? she said it's cooked in Pu Tien style... faint.. den she proceed to explain abt other Pu Tien style dishes.. eg. yam duck.. here's how she explained it.. 'the duck is still duck and the yam is still yam.. but they are cooked in Pu Tien syle'... erm... so wat exactly is Pu Tien style?? :P

left for home aft dinner.. PH is very high after a day of activities.. :) he enjoyed the day very much.. was all smiley when he's at home.. :)

hubby is in Finland now for his team meeting.. so i'm now home alone with PH.. luckily our parents are able to help me fetch PH from childcare.. so life is still quite easy for me.. esp when PH can fall asleep by 9 plus.. :)

guess papa will be missing his darling son badly.. so i specially did a video for him.. thot he may miss me too.. so i included myself too.. but half my face blocked by the camera.. so.. enjoy viewing my pretty n full of expressions eyes.. :P

Park Adventure!

Hubby read a newspaper article on the Admiralty Park which consist of mangrove, grassland and forest.. thus decided to 'try it out' today.. supposed to leave home in the morning.. but i was too slow in preparing.. by the time we reached the park, it's 12 noon...... *sweat*

erm... we r not tt on.. so didn't managed to finish the whole park... only walked thru part of the forest area.. den i complained tt i was very hungry.. n told hubby tt PH was hungry too.. and we made a U-turn back to the carpack.. hehehehehe... :P

no lah... it's a pair of jeans tt's juz too big for PH.. :P it's for 2 years old.. but i think PH will need to wait for a looooooong time b4 the pants can stay in place.. currently, the pants drop aft he walked a few steps.. :P

PH has become more expressive lately.. he can come out with quite a few funny facial expression... thus, i decided to teach him a cute little 'game'.... :P

i teach him how to make faces for 喜怒哀乐... :P he did it.. smile happily for 喜, 皱眉头 for 怒, fake cry for 哀 and smiling tilting his head for 乐.. :P

didn't managed to capture any photo as i was bz making faces for 喜怒哀乐 too.. shall take n post his pics here when he perfected his skills... hehehehe... :)

hmmmm.. maybe this cute little act can come in handy if PH has the chance of going for those baby competition... :P there's one recently.. wanted to bring him there.. too bad he was having fever on the competition date... hope there will be another one soon... :)

Visit to Istana!!

Brought PH to the Istana Open House today.. :) had fun there although quite tired walking.. hahaa... :p we didn't managed to see President Nathan.. didn't see guards changing duty.. didn't see any performances too.... :( guess we were too early... the performances only start at 12pm.. we were there at 10am.. hubby said tt president haven't woke up.. heeee... :P

went to cafe cartel for brunch after tt.. food is gd... love the bread... PH enjoyed his bread too.. :) but, there's this waiter there who irritated us alot... he came asking us if we needed help.. hubby wanted to order (first time there, he dunnoe tt we can juz write on the form provided).. but he juz walked away without listening if we needed any help fr him.. aft tt, he came n asked if we need help again.. tried talking to him n he turn his back again!! irritated.. finally managed to get his attention aft many attempts...

aft tt, hubby requested for additional spoon fr him.. he gave us one.. n asked '够不够?'.. as if he gave us many spoons lidat.. den PH was playing with one of the plastic card holder there.. once he saw tt PH stop playing with it, he quickly came to take it away.. win liao lor.. afraid PH will damaged the holder isit... hai~~ den, PH dropped the thermal container's cover on the floor.. the waiter saw it.. guess wat he did? he said 'ohhh.. ur son dropped something..' and walked away!!! ahhh!!! usually others will help us pick it up.. he juz walk away.. like '幸灾乐祸' lidat.. anyway, enough of this weird, poor cust service watier.. :P
